He graduated summa cum laude with an accounting degree from Walsh College, a private university in Troy, Michigan. After graduation, Chris passed his CPA examination and worked for Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) as a certified public accountant. Working in the Detroit, San Diego, New York City and San Francisco offices, he concentrated in the emerging business market, consulting with new business owners and helping them jumpstart their businesses. He advised large and small companies about their business practices for 11 years, reviewing hundreds of business plans for start up companies.
After eleven years, he left the accounting profession in 1991 to pursue his passion for real estate. As a real estate broker in San Francisco and a real estate investor nationwide, Chris has consistently earned top producer awards.

When not writing, speaking, helping street youth or building something, you can usually find him dancing around his living room with his long-time partner, friends and family, studying Portuguese, traveling to Brazil….and reading trashy mystery novels.
